Liberty has consistently been one of the top teams in the state since claiming the 6A Conference championship in 2019. If they weren’t already on everyone’s radar, they certainly are now after a statement 26-17 victory against defending Open Division champion, Saguaro. The Lions remain undefeated at 4-0 this season while only allowing 31 points to opposing teams so far.
Liberty defeated eight-time Colorado state champion, Valor Christian, two weeks ago on the road and now has a victory against Saguaro on the road following a bye week. The gauntlet of superstar teams continues as Liberty plays the final leg of a three-game road trip against another Open Division favorite, Basha.
