Effective today, Coach Kerry Taylor will no longer be employed at San Tan Charter School. The search for the next San Tan Charter Head Football Coach will begin in the coming weeks.

Kerry Taylor sent this statement over to Sports360az.com on Saturday morning when asked, “why he is no longer the head coach at San Tan Charter”

The administration and I wanted different things for the program. I wanted a program where I could hold kids accountable and prepare them for the real world. The administration told me they didn’t want to be a Chandler or Saguaro. They just wanted the kids to have a good experience. They didn’t want players coached hard or held accountable. I told them over the last 3 weeks that’s ok if that’s what you want for your school, just means I am not your guy. I’m not going to let kids slide and be average, I would be failing them as their coach.
