The former Mountain Ridge High School standout who finished his prep career at IMG Academy in Florida averaged 12 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game last season for the Wildcats.
He joins forward Zeke Nnaji, along backcourt mate and good friend Nico Mannion, who also made their intentions to enter the draft recently. Arizona has now lost six of their top seven players off last season’s 21-11, 10-8 squad.
Here’s what ESPN’s Jonathan Givony had to say about Green.
“With his 6-foot-10 wingspan and 210-pound frame, Green is considered an ideal NBA wing prospect thanks to his athletic ability, defensive versatility and 3-point shooting.”
Most project the 6-foot-6 Green to be a first-round pick this summer.
