On Wednesday, the NASCAR Foundation Speedy Bear Brigade made its annual stop at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
This year was different though. Instead of room visits, NASCAR Driver John Hunter Nemechek, Phoenix Raceway Track President Latasha Causey, and the Speedy Bear crew threw a party at The Zone at PCH.
The initiative is part of the national Speedy Bear Brigade, a partnership between The NASCAR Foundation and Kaulig Giving that is distributing more than 5,000 bears to hospitalized children in 135 hospitals across all 50 states.
The speed and thrills of NASCAR returns to the Valley of the Sun, October 16-18 with the ARCA Menards West Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and NASCAR Cups Series for a group of pivotal races in The Chase, NASCAR’s latest postseason format.
