Thursday night, CW7 will begin a ten-week high school football broadcast package. Jody Jackson, Jordan Hamm, Devon Henry, and Jordan Spurgeon will be in the play-by-play chair at one time or another. Jody will lead Thursday night’s matchup between Basha and Brophy Prep. I’ve written and spoken of my admiration of her as a person and a broadcaster through the years. I’ve also wondered why she hasn’t pursued the play-by-play side of broadcasting. I know that she will crush it Thursday night and beyond. One day, she may be in a college or NFL booth, calling games if she chooses to pursue that route in her career. Here’s our conversation from earlier this week.
