It’s official.
The Arizona Coyotes are moving to Utah.
Owner Alex Meruelo did not sell the team, and holds the franchise in an inactive state. He will have five years to reactivate the franchise if an arena can be built in that time.
But for now, NHL hockey is leaving the desert.
Jody Jackson, who has been a staple of the Coyotes broadcast team, joined Brad Cesmat to talk about the move and what could come next.
