The second 2019 National Letter of Intent Day is Wednesday with a handful of Arizona prep standouts still publicly undecided about where they’re going to be continuing their academic and athletic careers.
I thought I’d take a stab at where some of the top remaining players may end up next fall.
Kyle Patterson- TE Perry – Caught fire and received huge offers from Alabama, UCLA and others. Looks like he has list down to Washington and Air Force. Conventional wisdom would say he signs with UW but I keep hearing Air Force. Prediction= Air Force
Hayden Hatten- TE Saguaro- Was committed to Brown but just tripped to Idaho. Prediction= Idaho
Hogan Hatten- LB Saguaro- See above
Marqui Johnson- WR Saguaro- Tripped South Dakota State, Idaho and Sac State with Sac State getting the last visit. Prediction= Sac State
Kaleb Covington- WR Pinnacle- Tripped to Western Illinois last weekend but Idaho offered Sunday night. Former teammates I think end up in Moscow as well. Prediction= Idaho
Dez Melton- ATH Deer Valley- Tripped to San Diego State and Louisville the last two weekends. I think proximity to home wins. Prediction= San Diego State
Andrew Blitzke- LB Chavez- Tripped to Washburn and NAU. I think playing in-state at FCS school is a no-brainer. Prediction= NAU
Eriq Williams- OT Mt. Pointe- Tripped to Wagner and San Diego State but Aztecs hadn’t offered. Prediction= Wagner.
Francis Kumi- DE Red Mountain- South Dakota State and Sioux Falls offered early. Camped at SDSU but never pulled the trigger which leads me to believe he is headed to Sioux Falls. Prediction= Sioux Falls
Matthew Pola-Mao- DT Chandler- Took his only official visit last weekend to Kansas State which leads me to believe he will ink with the Wildcats. Prediction= Kansas State
