Shaun Aguano wasted no time putting any quarterback questions to bed at his availability on Monday.
The starting quarterback moving forward will be Emory Jones.
Aguano said he won’t penalize a player for getting injured, as Jones did midway through the Sun Devils’ 45-38 win over Washington on October 8. Back-up Trenton Bourguet stepped in and was impressive in the win, throwing for 182 yards and three scores.
After a bye week last weekend, ASU looks ahead to Stanford. With Jones fully cleared, Aguano will go with the Florida transfer, but won’t hesitate to make a change if he feels it is necessary.
He breaks down the decision in the video above.
