Arizona State QB recruit Ryan Kelley did not play in Sundays Under Armour All-American Bowl in Orlando, Florida because of injury. Kelley went through workouts early in the week but was told by trainers of the game to sit out because of tendonitis in his throwing shoulder. Kelley went on social media Friday night.

The severity of the injury will be examined further once Kelley returns to the Valley. The former Basha high school QB is scheduled to play in the Polynesian Bowl later this month in Hawaii, but that is now highly doubtful. Kelley will finish out his senior year of high school before enrolling at Arizona State this summer.
Kelley was not the only player with Arizona connections to sit out of the Under Armour game. Isaiah Pola-Mao of Mountain Pointe, was sidelined by injury as well. The two of them sat together on the bench during Sundays game.
