Three Dot Thoughts…

Ian Kennedy said before Friday nights Diamondbacks game at San Diego that Major League Baseball was using him as an example. Um, yes. Throwing at another players head can’t be tolerated, but I think Kennedy should be happy that it was just 10 games. Accept the discipline and move on. He’s lucky it wasn’t for a month…

I wasn’t surprised that Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke didn’t get a suspension for hitting Miguel Montero. It has come out that the plate umpire on Tuesday night was a replacement ump from Triple A working due to an injury to one of the regular season men in blue.

I’m one of those who believe in retaliation in baseball(you hit my guy, I hit your guy, we move on)

Kennedy hitting the opposing pitcher up high, whether he did it on purpose or not, deserves time to sit and watch. Diamondbacks fans won’t like it, but I think that he should be happy with the outcome. It could’ve been much, much worse…

I think the Suns should explore former UofA star guard Andre Iguodala. He opted out of his deal with Denver on Friday. He’s 29, a terrific two guard who plays defense and averaged 13pts, 5 assists and 5 rebounds a game. The question for the Suns would be, do you burn some of your coveted cap space this summer or wait until the free agent class of 2014 that features Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony(no thanks), Kyrie Irving, and Paul George among others…

HBO Series “The Newsroom” has season two starting July 14th. It’s on my “must watch” list…

Fathers Day is a great holiday for me. With four kids, i will be getting a ton of attention. I didn’t get to know my dad much, so I try to make up for that by being as tied in as possible to my own kids…
