Hamilton quarterback Nicco Marchiol has been well-traveled since the dead period in college football recruiting was lifted on June 1.
The one-time Florida State commit traveled to West Virginia, Michigan State and Arizona State this month and committed to the Mountaineers on Monday.

The 6-foot-2, 216-pound quarterback holds offers from nearly 30 programs. He threw for 1,417 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions as a junior at Hamilton. He rushed for 535 yards and six additional scores on the ground.
Marchiol transferred to Hamilton heading into the 2020 season. In his freshman and sophomore season in Colorado, he threw for over 4,000 passing yards and 55 total touchdowns.
That now makes three Power 5 commitments for the Hamilton Huskies in the class fo 2022 with tight end Michael Masunas committing to Michigan State on Saturday and offensive tackle Grayson Stovall committing to Arizona as Jedd Fisch’s first public in-state commit.
