The Grand Canyon University home court advantage was as strong as ever as the Havocs enjoyed Beach Night and their Lopes surfing through the competition.
The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks had some nice moments from Liam Lloyd, who finished with 16 points and seven boards as well as Carson Basham, who had a few sweet moves at the low block.
Bryce Drew and his Lopes were just too much on both ends, though.
Sydney Curry (17 pts) dominated the paint while Gabe McGlothan cleaned up the glass (7 pts, 14 reb) and the squad combined for 10 steals on the evening too.
They converted 16 NAU turnovers into 22 points and 41 points off the pine is plenty of support for the starters to take care of the rest.
