A hometown star is staying in The Valley. Saguaro High School is no stranger to seeing former players make it to the NFL, and they have added one to the roster of their home state team.
The latest is Denzel Burke, who was drafted by his hometown Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round with the 174th overall pick.
Burke is a national champion with Ohio State and had a great college career with the Buckeyes.
His numbers at the NFL combine dropped him a little bit in the draft, but his tape is something that should excite his home state fans at State Farm Stadium.
