Former Nebraska DL and Higley alum Ty Robinson was drafted by the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round with the 111th overall pick.
Robinson started all 13 games his senior year, putting him at 60, which tied the Nebraska record for most games played.
His final season, he put up 37 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks – all career-highs.
He added four pass breakups, one blocked field goal, and one safety.
Robinson was recognized as a second-team All-Big Ten DL in 2024 and Honorable Mention All-Big Ten in 2023.
Each of Ty Robinson’s sacks in 2024, a powerful interior presence that has some flashes of former Husker Adam Carriker from long ago.
