Every week during the NFL season, Sports Illustrated Senior Fantasy Analyst Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building and developing your fantasy team for success.
In our most recent conversation with Michael (Sep. 28), we went over more potential waiver wire bargains and whether or not certain players’ boom-or-bust tendencies warrant removing them from starting lineups. Here are the Hall-of-Famer’s recommendations:
Should Fantasy Managers Be Concerned About The Chiefs’ Offensive Inconsistency?
Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill combined in first half:

“Listen, Tyreek Hill has had a couple of stinkers in a row. If you want to trade him to me, I’ll take him. I get it, some of these guys are putting up big numbers every week but everyone is going to have stinkers from time to time, even the best. I think Clyde Edwards-Helaire took a step forward this week, and the matchup is pretty good this week against the Eagles, so keep him in your lineup. There are going to be ebbs and flows with the Chiefs running backs, though.”
Josh Gordon Is Once Again Back In The NFL. Does He Have Any Fantasy Value At All?

“He hasn’t done anything since 2013. If you want to pick him up, be my guest. If you want to add to the muddied wide receiver group in Kansas City behind Tyreek Hill, go ahead. They’ve got Hardman, they’ve got Robinson, they’ve got Pringle and now they’ve got Gordon. What they really need is some help on the defensive side because they haven’t been able to stop anybody this season. Josh Gordon is a talented guy who was very valuable for one season in Cleveland, and that was a long time ago. I’m not really interested in adding him off the wire.”
Saquon Barkley Had His Best Game Of The Season By Far Against Atlanta. Do You Think He Can Sustain It?

“The first two weeks, I had him as a sit. This past week I said, ‘start him, they’re ready to go.’ He’s back. Full complement of snaps, full complement of touches, and they’re going to need him moving forward because their offensive line is awful. It’s banged-up, they’ve already lost two guys, and they’ve got the Saints this week. That’s a really tough matchup but Saquon Barkley can be put in starting lineups confidently.”
A.J. Green Had His Cardinals Coming-Out Party Last Week Against Jacksonville. Is He Worth A Waiver Claim?

“He had a big game. It was the Jaguars, though. Would I pick him up off the waiver wire if he’s there e? Sure, it’s nice to have some shares in this Cardinals offense. They’re going to score a lot of points. Am I playing him against the Rams? No.”
