The class of 2024 number one prospect in the nation made his commitment to The Ohio State University on his seventeenth birthday. Dylan Raiola had been waiting for his birthday to make his verbal commitment at his church, a place that he says harbors all of his best memories.
“All the big decisions I make is gonna be at my church,” Raiola said. “My foundation is in Christ. That’s everything I do is for him.”
Raiola has always expressed the importance of “ohana,” something he’s found in his new home with the Chandler Wolves and his future home as an Ohio State Buckeye.
“I know that there’s that brotherhood up there,” Raiola said. “They take care of each other up there and they push each other.”

The 2024 quarterback said it was important for him to make his commitment before leading his team this fall. With his decision out in the open, Raiola is able to focus on grinding in spring ball and preparing for his first season in one of the state’s top high school football programs.
“My team is going to get my full attention but at the same time I’m working for something bigger than high school football,” Raiola said.
Dylan has wasted no time getting to know his Chandler Wolves “ohana” and is already getting comfortable calling himself a Buckeye.
