Two of the best pure athletes in the state got to showcase their skills this week at the MLB Draft Combine in Pinnacle’s Duce Robinson and Hamilton’s Roch Cholowsky.
These two benefited greatly playing multiple sports throughout high school. Robinson is the top tight end in the country and enrolled at USC to play football. He will have baseball in his future, whether it’s in professional baseball or with the Trojans.
Cholowsky is committed to UCLA to play baseball and is the Gatorade Player of the Year in Arizona. He also was a dual-threat quarterback at Hamilton High School and credits his leadership and toughness to his time on the gridiron.
They discussed the importance of their work away from the diamond that could help in their Major League endeavors in the video above.
