The fire sale continues for the disappointing 2025 Arizona Diamondbacks with less than 24 hours until the trade deadline.
Last week, Josh Naylor was dealt to Seattle.
Now he’ll be reunited with Eugenio Suárez, who was in Seattle during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
BREAKING: The Seattle Mariners are in agreement on a deal to acquire third baseman Eugenio Suárez from the Arizona Diamondbacks, sources tell ESPN. The trade is pending medical review.

Suárez is among league leaders nib RBI (87) and home runs (36) this season.
Arizona continues to enter a soft “rebuild” landing top first baseman prospect Tyler Locklear and two minor league pitchers.
The right-handed hitting, 24-year-old Locklear made his MLB debut last season. He was just brought up by Seattle today, prior to the trade.
Expect more moves to happen before the deadline passes…
