- (0-1) Williams Field – Even with the loss to Brophy, the Black Hawks move up on my list. This is a good, well-coached team.

- (1-0) Perry – The Pumas looked fast and violent on defense last week. Loved the effort from that group in their week 1 win over Desert Ridge.
- (1-0) Queen Creek – Great matchup vs Casteel this week. The Bulldogs look to avenge a close 35-28 loss against the Colts last season. Junior QB Tait Reynolds lit up Sunrise Mountain last week and one of his favorite targets, senior WR Quintin Miles, had a heck of a game hauling in 5 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns.

- (0-1) Desert Edge – Tough first game for the Scorpions offensively, but they won’t face a better opponent than Liberty unless they make the open. Class of 2025 LB Josh Hopphaus is an absolute monster, loved his game film versus the Lions.
