In a season of standout performances throughout the 2024 season for ASU tight end Chamon Metayer, he was unable to get past the Sun Devils’ last game of the year.
Arizona State gave Texas just about all they could handle before the Longhorns escaped with an overtime victory.
Metayer said he was “furious” with his performance and was unable to watch the game’s film for months.
But after a supportive nudge from tight ends coach Jason Mohns, Metayer reviewed his performance, knowing he couldn’t properly turn the page to 2025 without doing so.
Now, Metayer is laser-focused to lead a tight end room that has been revamped in the last calendar year and build upon a strong 2024 performance.
