Big names have led the Chaparral Firebirds football team during their current three-peat as state champions.
Last year as sophomores, quarterback Kyle Allen and wide receiver Mark Andrews from Desert Mountain proved to be one of the state’s top pass-catch threats by year’s end. In total, Allen threw for 2,547 yards and 25 touchdowns.
