The Arizona Cardinals continue their offense-only 2018 draft by adding to the the depth in the backfield.
In the fourth round, the Bird Gang selected Fordham running back Chase Edmonds.
Edmonds battled some injuries his senior year, but as a junior, he rushed for 1,799 yards and was a consensus first-team FCS All-American. He also had 19 touchdowns.
The running back said he looks forward to learning from David Johnson, a fellow former FCS running back, and said he worked extensively in the slot receiver position in his pro day to show his versatility.
In addition to Edmonds, the Cardinals have selected UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk and Michigan center Mason Cole in 2018.
