Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl defensive back Budda Baker put in the time, effort, and energy. Now he’s being paid in a big way. The Cardinals announced that the team has agreed on a terms for a new contract with Baker.
Arizona is making 24-year-old, two-time, Pro-Bowl selection Budda Baker the highest-paid safety in the NFL history, giving him a four-year, $59 million contract extension ($14.75M average per year), sources tell ESPN.
Asked about the deal, agent @DavidMulugheta confirmed it.

Baker has been to two Pro Bowls in his three seasons since being drafted out the University of Washington in 2017. IN 2019 Baker led all NFL defensive backs with a career high 147 tackles. He does not have a career interception.
