Free Agent frenzy today. Mainly in the NBA, but also for the Arizona Cardinals.
It’s reported that they brought Corey Peters in to workout this morning. Now, the team announces they’ve re-signed the 33-year-old nose tackle to a one year deal.

This comes on the heels of the Phoenix Suns re-signing Cam Payne and Chris Paul when NBA free agency opened up this afternoon. All of the CP’s are staying in the valley.

Peters brings veteran leadership to this youthful locker room. In his 11-year career, last five with the Cardinals, Peters has made a name for himself as vocal character. He’s a former Walter Payton Man of the Year award winner as well. Those attributes are important for the development of this team, especially if Larry Fitzgerald opts to retire.
He’s coming off a knee injury that limited him to nine games with Arizona last season.
The Cardinals announced the re-signing of Corey Peters to a 1-year deal. Earlier today, Kliff Kingsbury said Peters looked "really good, moved around well. I think he's in good shape and looked healthy."
