The Arizona Wildcats’ offensive struggles continued Saturday at BYU, where the Cougars cruised to a 41-19 victory.
For the second week in a row, scoring points proved a problem for quarterback Noah Fifita, who connected on just one scoring pass while throwing three interceptions against a physical BYU defense that spent most of the day in the Arizona backfield.
Arizona drops to 3-3, while the Cougars are now 6-0
The Wildcats crossed past the BYU 30-yard line five times and managed 19 points.
Next week, Deion Sanders will bring his Colorado Buffaloes to Tucson to meet the Wildcats at a 1 p.m. kickoff that will be nationally televised on FOX.
