Since Brock Purdy graduated from Perry High School and stepped on campus at Iowa State, he’s won and helped bring the Cyclone program to new heights.
On Saturday, Iowa State took down Oklahoma for the first time at home since 1960. Purdy’s opposing quarterback in the matchup was former Pinnacle star Spencer Rattler. Arizona is well-represented in the Big 12 with Purdy, Rattler as well as Jake Smith, Bijan Robinson and Brayden Liebrock playing in the Texas offense. Austin McNamara is handling punting duties at Texas Tech. Matthew Pola-Mao is at Kansas State, and Matt Polk & Cade Bennett are hoping to start a pipeline to Oklahoma State.
Purdy joined Brad Cesmat to discuss the Cyclones’ big win and how the Arizona recruiting footprint has exploded over recent years.
