Another big feat for the best big in Mercury franchise history.
Nine-time All-Star and 2014 WNBA Champion, Brittney Griner (4,842), now only stands behind Diana Taurasi (9,929) on the Mercury all-time scoring list.
She moved past DeWanna Bonner with a free-throw at the 6:59 mark of the second quarter.

Taurasi – of course – is the number one scorer in league history, but Griner is no slouch at 26th in WNBA history.
“I’m just happy to be amongst some of the greats that played here.”

Griner added she’s more interested in the all-time blocks list. She’s already first for the Mercury and third in WNBA history with 748 blocks.
