Sophomore quarterback Brady McDonough has been laser-focused on his development at the varsity level. After a 52 touchdown performance at the Freshman level last year, the quarterback was ready to hit the ground running for Desert Mountain in 2021.
Despite missing some time due to arm and knee injuries, McDonough believes he’s become more of a student of the game while he was out. While he was on a pitch count for most of the season as his arm got back to full strength, McDonough was impressive in his debut season at the varsity level and hopes to take that next step as a junior with a talented Wolves squad returning.
McDonough’s season has ended due to a knee injury, but he’ll cheer on the Wolves as they navigate the 5A state bracket as the No. 4 seed.
McDonough caught up with the Recruiting Roundup to talk about what he can take away from his sophomore season and his early recruitment, which includes an Arizona offer and visit to Ole Miss.
