Chris Paul’s MVP resume added some extra lines Thursday night in a nationally televised blowout of the Milwaukee Bucks 131-107. The Suns have now won 16 of 17. Paul would put up 17 points and 19 assists Phoenix led by twenty points after three quarters and cruised to the victory
Monty Williams had a lineup in the second quarter that featured both Deandre Ayton and JaVale McGee. The twin towers took advantage of the Bucks playing without the injured Brook Lopez, leaving just Giannis Antetokounmpo to protect the rim. The two Suns bigs would combine for 39 points and 11 rebounds. The final line would show the Suns putting up 68 points in the paint.
The victory started a stretch of 8 home games over the next 9 contests for the Suns, who improved to 45-10 and host Orlando Saturday night.
