AZHSFB Week 4: Big Moments, Players To Watch, Scores

Arizona Sports News online

Sunnyslope at Notre Dame Prep

FINAL: Notre Dame Prep 49, Sunnyslope 7

Noah Trigueros, Cooper Perry & Kolton Jones

We already knew Noah Trigueros and Cooper Perry make quite the dynamic duo…

…but it seems a third party has entered the chat. Senior wide receiver Kolten Jones completed the night with two touchdowns to contribute to the Knights dominating win over Sunnyslope.

Jordan Spurgeon – “We all know that Notre Dame Prep’s offense is electric, but the defense is impressing. They completely shut down Luke Moga and the Sunnyslope offense. Expect to see the Saints deep in the postseason.”

Basha at Mountain View

FINAL: Basha 45, Mountain View 7

Gio Richardson

Gio Richardson should probably be on everyone’s radar after Friday night. The wide receiver showcased his speed against the Toros scoring two touchdowns for the Bears. His first came early in the second quarter on a screen from the 10-yard line.

Late in the third quarter, he delivered with a blistering 100-yard kick return for a touchdown.

The 2025 Bears wide receiver has offers from NAU, Central Michigan and Bowling Green.

Eastmark at Arizona College Prep

FINAL: Eastmark 22, ACP 21

A Tough Battle

The Eastmark Firebirds took down the 3-0 Arizona College Prep Knights in a nail-biting matchup. The reigning 3A State Champions are proving they’re still a force to be reckoned with this season under a new coaching staff. Eastmark lost their first game of the season against Canyon del Oro, 21-14.

In Week 2 they shut out Combs and dominated Mesquite the following week.

Arizona College Prep was their toughest test of the season and they rose to the occasion with a comeback win. The Knights defense racked up three interceptions but it wasn’t enough to stop Eastmark.

2024 athlete Ramar Williams should have Sun Devil fans excited after tonight’s performance. The three-star defensive lineman/tight end committed to ASU on June 17.
