ASU’s Keith Abney, Raleek Brown Declare for NFL Draft

Two of Arizona State’s top players from the 2025 season will forego additional eligibility in the college ranks and head to the NFL Draft.

Cornerback Keith Abney and Raleek Brown both made announcments their intentions to declare for the draft on Wednesday.

Both players were First Team All-Big-12 selections.

According to Pro Football Focus, Abney logged the most coverage stats in the nation without giving up a touchdown. In 2025, he defended 12 passes, had two interceptions and forced two fumbles.

He had his role expand in 2024 as one of the top corners on the team, paired with Javan Robinson. Abney took an incremental jump in his play in 2025, becoming one of the top corners in the nation.

Brown was the engine that made the ASU offense go in 2025. After missing the 2024 season due to injury, the talented USC transfer stepped in as the featured back this season. He eclipsed the 1,000 rushing yard mark and six total scores in 2025.

He is the sixth running back in Shaun Aguano’s backfield to reach 1,000 rushing yards in a season.

Sun Devil standouts Chamon Metayer, Justin Wodtly and Myles Rowser are among those who have also made public declaratoins for the draft.

Defensive tackle CJ Fite is also weighing his options about returning to college football or entering the draft.
