Throw in bad weather.
Throw in a late kick.
And ASU had its work cut out for itself.
Then late in the week it was announced Sam Leavitt was out with an injury.
The Sun Devils had overcome plenty of adversity in the last 18 months and found ways to win, but on Saturday night, the story wasn’t necessarily the weather or the environment or a key injury. It was Utah controlled the trenches on both sides of the football on their way to a dominant 42-10 win over the Sun Devils.
