Arizona State celebrated the Fourth of July by adding to Texas pass-catchers to its 2019 recruiting class.
Wide receiver Jordan Kerley and tight end Nolan Matthews committed to the Sun Devils and adds to a class where nine of the 11 commits play on the offensive side of the ball.
Kerley, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver, is coming off a junior season where he caught 73 passes for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns. He held offers from the Sun Devils, Arizona, Baylor, North Texas, SMU, TCU and UTSA.

Matthews is a 6-foot-3.5, 242-pound tight end who has 18 offers including Arizona State, Iowa State, TCU, Kansas, SMU, Utah and Wyoming.
He had 327 yards and five receiving touchdowns while averaging over 16 yards per catch in seven games.

These are the tenth and eleventh public commitments for the Sun Devils in their 2019 class. This now makes four commitments from the state of Texas.
