It wasn’t always pretty, but Arizona State found a way to win overseas against Kansas in the Union Jack Classic at Wembley Stadium.
The final score was 24-17, but ASU had the game well in hand for much of the second half. The defense didn’t give up its first points until about seven minutes left in the game. Both Kansas and ASU had special teams touchdowns.
The offensive numbers won’t wow you in the box score, but that side of the ball was able to finish the job on two separate occassions when given a short field to work with.
There was a lot of extra that came with this trip. Extra travel. Extra distraction. Extra adjustment. Extra logistics.
Now, the Sun Devils can utilize the bye before playing Hawaii and continuing their tough slate of 2026 games.
