Arizona college and high school players getting shot in NFL

Four former Arizona high school players were selected in the NFL Draft this past weekend including line backer Dion Jordan (Chandler) going to Miami, wide receiver Markus Wheaton (Chandler) going to Pittsburgh, defensive back Marc Anthony (Chandler) going to Baltimore and quarterback Sean Renfree (Notre Dame Prep) going to Atlanta.

It was unfortunate to not see any members from U of A or ASU football drafted but many Sun Devils and Wildcats plus more Arizona high school football players from the state were immediately signed as free-agents and will get a shot in the National Football League.

-Keelan Johnson (also from Mesa high school) – Miami Dolphins

-Jamal Miles (also from Peoria high school) – Jacksonville Jaguars

-Cameron Marshall – Miami Dolphins

-Matt Scott – Jacksonville Jaguars

-Dan Buckner – Arizona Cardinals

-Tamai Tutogi – Tampa Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets (all mini-camp invites)

-Kyle Quinn – Philadelphia Eagles
