Every year at the WM Phoenix Open, the San Tan Ford Celebrity Putting Challenge is one of the greatest event.
Athletes from Special Olympics Arizona get to putt with plenty of faces from around the sports world.

This year the event included Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo, and pitchers Corbin Burnes, Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, and Drey Jameson. ASU head football coach Kenny Dillingham played as well as ASU AD Graham Rossini. Saguaro alum Christian Kirk was there. Plus many others from the Cardinals, along with the mascots from each valley sports team.
As San Tan Ford’s Tim Hovik put it…
“I think it speaks volumes… People are good. We spend a lot of time I think talking about all the things that are wrong and once in awhile I think it’s important that we remember most of the things are right. And people have caring in their heart and they believe in charity and they’re out here to make things better for other people and that’s special.”
