Léon Marchand Helps Sun Devil Swim Place Sixth At NCAA Championship

On Saturday, the Sun Devil Men’s Swim team clinched its best finish at the NCAA Championships since 1990 after placing sixth.

Leading the charge was 19-year-old freshman Léon Marchand. The France native won the 200 breast stroke with the second-fastest time in history (1:48.20). He aslo won the 200 IM and placed second in the 400 IM.

Before arriving in Tempe, Marchand competed at the 2020 Summer Olypmics.
