22-year-old Anthony Edwards couldn’t shoot straight(3-12), and yet the T-Wolves still blew the Suns out in Game Two of their playoff series Tuesday night in Minneapolis.
The 105-93 final didn’t indicate how one-sided this game was.
Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal had very few clean looks at the basket(17 of 43 shooting) . The T-Wolves’ defense left the Suns whining for the whistle that never came. This is playoff basketball. It’s not the time to blame officials for the starters’ lack of offense.
But here’s the silver lining. Yes, the Suns are down 0-2, but in the best-of-seven series, nothing dramatic has happened. A win Friday night in downtown Phoenix will suddenly make the Valley believe they are back in it. This series is far from over.
With Grayson Allen sidelined after re-injuring his ankle, the Suns need someone off the bench to provide a lift(Josh Okogie?) But now, first-year head coach Frank Vogel has to show his mettle by making the right adjustments back home. Can he do it?
