Head coach Rich Rodriguez and the Arizona Wildcats will look to wash away the bad taste from an injury-riddled 3-9 2016 season. The ‘Cats endured an eight-game losing streak but did beat rival ASU to close out their season in late November.
With 2017 brings a new year and optimism in Tucson. Wednesday morning UofA’s official schedule was released. It includes six homes games, starting with NAU on September 2nd. Arizona has a bye week after hosting Utah on Friday, September 22nd and before traveling to Boulder to battle defending Pac-12 South Champion Colorado on October 7th.
The Wildcats once again will have an early “spring” football schedule starting one month from today in Tucson and featuring a fan-friendly open practice on March 2nd. More details of the event will be made available in the coming weeks.
