X Alford is known as the 100-yard landlord on his social media.
As the calendars get set to turn to August, the rent is coming due for his opponents.
Alford is entering his third year with the program, but his second on the field. The safety – along with former ASU wide receiver Jake Smith – had eligibility waivers denied in 2023. He was able to be around the program, but couldn’t play in any games.
He helped set the foundation that year, and did the same on and off the field on last year’s team that made the College Football Playoff.
Now, he’s shifting his focus to the offseason and a summer that he believes will change his life.
