Saguaro 3-star quarterback Devon Dampier says he’s focussing on finding a program that will provide him with more than just a chance to play football.
“I’m going to look everywhere, especially the Ivy League schools,” Dampier said. “Just for places that are going to obviously build me for more than just football.”
Dampier says he’s highly considering Yale and the University of Pennsylvania and says his mom has been really influential in prioritizing academics. Dampier got his offer from Yale on Feb. 10 and his offer from Penn came on Feb. 28.
April was a busy month for Dampier as he received additional offers from Air Force and made a visit to Nevada. Devon’s most recent offers came from Army on April 23 and the University of South Dakota on April 25.
