Heading into Friday night, MaxPreps ranked the matchup between Centennial and Liberty as the No. 1 game in the country. The No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the country went head to head with the expectation that the winner would earn the No. 1 spot in the Open Division Playoff Rankings.
The final rankings, along with the state tournament brackets, will be revealed during the live bracket show between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.
