Now that the regular season is over in the Pac-12 and Western Athletic Conference, the college basketball focus for the in-state schools shift to Las Vegas.
Arizona State will open up the Pac-12 Tournament in Vegas on Wednesday, March 9th vs Stanford. Tip-off will be at 1pm Arizona time. Noon in Las Vegas. The T-Mobile Arena in downtown Vegas will be the venue. If Arizona State wins that game, they would meet top-seed Arizona on Thursday, once again at 1 pm Arizona time, noon in Vegas.
Grand Canyon University open play in the Western Athletic Conference tourney in Las Vegas on Thursday. The Orleans Arena will be the venue for the WAC Tourney. The ‘Lopes will have to wait to find out their opponent. They are the 4th seed and will play Thursday night in the quarterfinals at 7pm Arizona time, 6pm in Vegas
The two conference tournament sites are about two miles apart if you’re so inclined to take in both.
