On October 11 against BYU, the collaboration between the University of Arizona and Phoenix Raceway hit the gridiron.
Phoenix Raceway Track President, Latasha Causey hopped into the track pace vehicle to lead the team bus and then the players onto the field.
If you’ve listened to any University of Arizona football presser this year, you’ve heard Brent Brennan say “Redline.”
The mantra is his philosophy for the program. It basically means play fast, play max effort, and play hard.
That mantra has led to a collaboration with Phoenix Raceway ahead of the NASCAR Championship Weekend, October 31-November 2.
Brennan got to drive a car on the track with Wilbur and others in attendance.
