The road into the world of NASCAR is unique for each individual who desires to work in the industry. While the trip from Arizona to the hub of NASCAR is a substantial journey, talent from the Grand Canyon state continues to flourish.
Charlotte, NC houses most NASCAR teams and is a hot spot for racing talent. After racing in Arizona as children and finding a desire to be in NASCAR after watching on TV from such a young age, Austin and Tyler Trebilcock have made their way from being football players at Mountain View, Marana in Tucson, to working for one of the goliaths of NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports.
The brothers hope to find one of the cars they see every day in the shop in Phoenix Raceway victory lane during NASCAR Championship Weekend Nov. 3-5. NASCAR crowns four champions over three days this weekend at the Avondale track.
