Have these guys made an impact on the field for ASU this year?

No doubt.

Their work off the field?

Even more important.

This is ASU Football’s leadership council. It’s player-voted and player-led. It’s also an incredible resource for ASU’s coaching staff to know what is happening on the team’s roster and how they can adjust throughout the season.

It’s proven to be invaluable this year.

It’s also something Kenny Dillingham learned from Gus Malzahn.

The two head coaches will face off this Saturday when the Devils take the field against UCF. But Dillingham ran Malzahn’s offense at Auburnn in 2019 when he first learned of this council.

He knew when was in a position to incorporate that into his own program, he wouldn’t hesitate.

Dillingham and Malzahn discuss their relationship and the importance of that council in the video above.
