Just Lose, Baby…

Arizona Sports News online

A loss, is a win for the Suns. Plain and simple.

With 25 games left in the season, there should be no more W’s for the Suns. Lonzo Ball is ALL that matters.
Ball was on display Thursday night at Arizona State with Robert Sarver, the proud owner of a team that hasn’t made the playoffs since 2010, in attendance.
Ball completely controlled the game on the court, as the Bruins waltzed by the Sun Devils. More importantly, the game was sold out. Basketball games at Arizona State NEVER sell out! There was a buzz(a BIG buzz) in the Valley about Lonzo Ball being in town.
He’s a bigger version of Steve Nash and Jason Kidd. He’s like Magic Johnson in so many ways(even a shot that needs some work). He’s also the ONE player that Sarver has to get. It’s right within Sarvers grasp, but winning games will be the undoing of that possibility.
The Suns, Boston(by way of Brooklyn), and the Lakers are all fighting for the top spot in the NBA draft. May 16th is the date of the draft lottery. It can be the day that we FINALLY get out of this no-playoff nightmare, or it can be just another day where the Suns get a top-ten pick that doesn’t ensure much of anything.
Lonzo Ball is the star that Sarver hasn’t been able to sign by way of free agency. He’s the one that would put the Suns in position to trade Eric Bledsoe and others for a high-end veteran.
Ball, Booker, Chriss, Warren. You’re set up for a decade of success. If not, perhaps we go through another decade of being close to irrelevant in the marketplace.
I give Robert full credit for Thursdays dumping of P.J. Tucker. The owner got rid of the best defensive player for a bag of rocks. Keep it up! Magic Johnsons traded his best three-point shooter earlier this week. Tank-a-polooza is in full-swing in LA. The race for Ball is on.
