And when the dust settled…
So the Suns turned over almost half of their roster at Thursdays NBA trade deadline. The core of Eric Bledsoe, the Morris twins and center Alex Len remain, while Goran Dragic, his brother Zoran, Isaiah Thomas, Miles Plumlee, Tyler Ennis and two first round draft picks were shipped out Phoenix.
While trade calls still need to be completed, here is what I understand all of the deals:
-Dragic brothers go to Miami along with Lakers 1st top-five protected round pick (surprising).
-Plumlee and Ennis go to Milwaukee.
-Thomas ends up with Boston.
Here is what the Suns get in return from my understanding:
-Guard Brandon Knight from Bucks (restricted free agent at the end of the season)
-Forward Danny Granger and two protected #1’s (2016 and 2017) from Miami.
-Boston gives the Suns guard Marcus Thornton and 2016 first round pick originally owned by Cleveland.
Just to be clear, trade calls have to still go through to finalize the deals, but this is what I know at this point of the day.
