Suns 2013 NBA Draft Profiles

The Phoenix Suns will have three selections in the 2013 NBA Draft on Thursday night. Two in the first round (fifth and 30th overall) and one in the second (57th overall). For the Suns, the only other time they have selected fifth overall was 1977 when they selected now Ring of Honor member Walter Davis. It is the franchises first selection in the top 10 since 2004 when they selected Luol Deng (seventh overall) from Duke but then traded him to the Bulls. They also selected Amar’e Stoudemire ninth overall in 2002.

The fifth overall pick is creating buzz in the valley as the Suns as well as their fans are looking to add an important piece to their rebuilding process. The following are profiles on players who the team could select be selected by the Suns at number five:

The draft begins at 4:30pm from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
