The 2024 Big 12 Champion Arizona State Sun Devils are the No. 4 seed in the College Football Playoff.

In Kenny Dillingham’s second year at the helm, the Sun Devils get a bye and will play the winner of No. 12 Clemson and No. 5 Texas in the Peach Bowl bowl on January 1, 2025 in Atlanta.

The 11-2 Sun Devils are among the hottest teams in the field.

“You walk in a room with these guys and they just have a special aura,” Dillgham said via Zoom. “That’s really our secret sauce right now is the relationships they have with each other.”

Dillingham mentioned the blueprint that Dabo Swinney used to elevate Clemson into a blue blood program over the last 20 years. He says he truly believes ASU can reach that level of success as the next national “new” brand.

ASU’s two-deep has 30 of 44 players that are eligible to return. That means this isn’t a fluke and the opportunity to keep pushing forward is there.

A win in the quarterfinals would elevate this program to heights it has never been to before.
